Welcome to Sunday June Embroidery
A little creative outlet I’ve decided to bring to life.
I’ve always loved weekends, the slower pace, the feeling of having nowhere to rush off to, and especially those slow Southern Sundays. There’s something about magnolias, a little sunshine, and taking your time that just feels like home.
And then there’s June.
Summer has always been my favorite season, so June felt fitting, but June was also my grandmother’s name. She was the person who encouraged me to explore every creative outlet I could think of, even when that creativity occasionally involved blowing up her microwave in the process..
So Sunday June felt like the perfect name for something that combines a few of my favorite things: slow Sundays, summertime, creativity, and a little piece of her.
I’m starting out with both hand embroidery and machine embroidery, learning as I go, experimenting with different ideas, and getting my bearings as I figure out exactly where I want to take this little business.
For now, there won’t be a shop or a list of things to order just yet. I want to take some time to create, learn, and have fun with it.
So follow along and watch me build Sunday June from the very beginning. I’ll be sharing what I’m making, what I’m learning, and all the little projects along the way. Eventually you’ll be able to place orders and have something embroidered just for you.
